Teams have to follow cryptic clues in order to find a specific location. In this game "Alibi In Ashes" Nancy enters the annual Clue Challenge in her home town. The city is near Bayport, where Frank and Joe Hardy live. It is generally considered to be somewhere in the midwestern part of the United States. The location of River Heights was never specified in the Nancy Drew books. The last inhabitant of the house is dog Toto. The family is assisted by housekeeper Hannah Gruen. Nancy lives with her father Carson Drew in the city of River Heights.
